I don't really know why she has to suffer like this. I've looked for reasons and found none, I've looked for answers and found nothing. Just give her an easy rest, please. We have accepted it. It's painful for us, but rather than see her in pain it would be better to finally let the hope go. Pahinga ka na, Nay. Pahinga ka na. Okay na kami. Mahal na mahal ka namin.

Cloud Catalog #17.

Everything in the past few weeks has been beyond exhausting and saddening. I wish the world would just stop but it won't.

How come I saw this just now??? Oh gad. Garfield-gasm.

This is one of the finest moments on television. In an emotional speech, Ving Rhames hands his Golden Globe to Jack Lemmon in 1998.

Two years later, Jack wins the same award and says, "Well, in the spirit of Ving Rhames I'm gonna give this to Jack Lemmon."

I laughed and cried.

And this is Jack accepting his Oscar best actor for "Save the Tiger," alluding to Marlon Brando in the latter part of his speech. Love him.

Kapag talaga umulan, bumubuhos. Hindi ko lang talaga alam kung bakit ganito kalakas yung buhos. Iniiyak ko siya pero kulang pa rin. Nadadagdagan lalo yung problema. Hindi pa rin ba sapat? Quota na.

Everyone has a favorite Air Supply song. Mine is "Making Love Out of Nothing At All." Every time I see you all the rays of the sun are all streaming through the waves in your hair? And every star in the sky is taking aim at your eyes like a spotlight? How brilliant can you get?

I was still a kid when I discovered The Monkees. There was a CD of their greatest hits in one of our shelves and curious, I popped it into our player. They play the type of music that your parents usually listened to when they were young or danced to when they went out with their paramours. To my surprise I was immediately drawn to the band. Their lyrics are simple but heart-tugging, their melodies lovely and golden. I love every single track from that collection--"Last Train to Clarksville," "Pleasant Valley Sunday," A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You," "I'm A Believer," and of course, "Daydream Believer,"--but my favorite Monkees song will always be "Shades of Gray." It's beautiful in its straightforwardness, short and sweet. Today I learned about Davy Jones's passing and was completely saddened.

I held her hand and cried and cried and cried.

I love Mike Hadreas. The kick I get when I listen to Put Your Back N 2 It is hard to explain, but the first thing that comes to mind, pardon the obviousness, is that the songs on the album are something that Sufjan might have written if he were out and gay. A very somber album, but one that strikes a lot of wistful chord.

We all loved Jumanji, didn't we? Anyone care to share a download, for good ol' times' sake?

Well, you heard the news. Moz is coming to Manila in May. I listened to Vauxhall and I a while ago and was beholden by these beautiful lines from "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get," as always: Beware/ I bear more grudges than lonely high court judges/ When you sleep I will creep into your thoughts / Like a bad debt that you can't pay/ Take the easy way and give in.

I watched the Oscars while revising some articles yesterday. Billy Crystal lost his charm; his quips didn't even have an inch of wit in them. The show was unsurprisingly predictable, too, with Hugo sweeping the technical categories and The Artist the main prizes. Funny that it's so easy for most people to lash at The Artist. Really? You say all that during and after the awards ceremony? Makes you smart and cool being on the other side, eh? If it didn't win, I bet you'd even gloat, right? Pfft. Kids. Looking back, there weren't too many good foreign movies last year. Most of them were okay. Nothing like Certified Copy or Another Year. Or maybe I haven't seen enough. Which reminds me: Geez, I hope I didn't sound like Bret Easton Ellis, commenting on this kind of stuff like a bitter old chap.

I don't think I'll ever regret not going. I won't have fun anyway.

After a morning of unfortunate commute, I stopped by the church and wondered what to say. I walked away in the middle of a worship song.
